Been sailing with a friend on a Benni 373 this summer and re-learning to sail after a 24 year lay-off. Roller furling mains and electric winches, what next?

Definitely cruisers. We spent the 4th of July week in Annapolis and St Michaels. It was a great week. Home base is Baltimore Marine Center in Canton. The more I hear about the Gem, the more I like what I hear. We met with Sue Smith and asked about a demo cruise. She stated that they weren't doing them until boatshow time. We haven't done Rock Hall yet but hope to soon. Enjoy your trip!

I can back up the Hunter but it's usually a white knuckle event. How much hassle are the centerboards? I heard you have to raise and lower with each tack. Any issues when docking? I appreciate your input!

My wife and I are seriously considering a Gem. How do you like yours? We are presently in a leaseshare arrangement with Sailtime with a Hunter 33 and feel like Prairie Dogs each time we come out of the hatch! The Gemini seems to offer a lot more living space. Any complaints with your boat or the way she sails?

Thanks! I'll try to do a profile over the weekend. I have a Gemini 105 catamaran here in Maryland [ElkRiver]. It would be nice to have someone share the sailing on the Bay.
