You can get cigaterra (sp?) from eating large reef fish. It is accumulative. The more mature the fish, the greater the chances. We eat 16" to 26" hogfish all the time. I wouldn't consider shooting the bigger doormat sized fish we've seen. Not to mention the fact that they might get angry and kick my ass......

Barracuda are a prime example. Big barracuda will almost certainly make you sick while smaller ones can be eaten with gusto.
