We are dropping on 5/14, and will head to Wildwood Yacht Club (home port) the next day. Sailing to a volleyball tournament on Middle Bass on June 10 - 14 planning stops at Lorain on the way, and maybe Pelee and CYC on the way back. We are also planning trips to Geneva, Kanagio (Port Stanley), and probably Cedar Point / Islands.

I'm in Huron, Ohio. We frequently sail to the L. Erie islands but have never been further east than Vermillion. I'd like to go to Presque Isle someday and I've looked at Grand River as a possible overnight stop. If we ever do that, maybe we can meet.

Where is your boat docked? We have the Grand River Sailing Club where you can meet some people - if you need to find some crew. Can check us out at www.grsc.net

Lorraine,
I've planned a trip to North Channel this summer. Provided I can come up with an acceptable crew.

I'm hoping for a rendezvous with others on this site also.

We're in and we sailed on the 22nd. It was great. Winds up to 15 out of the north made for a rough ride but we sailed. Stayed on the boat this weekend but didn't sail again due to the rain and thunderstorms.

Does anyone have plans for trips on the sailboat this summer? Where and when do you plan to go?

My boat is raw water cooled, so I'm just waiting on warmer night temps before launching. It doesn't stop be from staying on her at night while she's on the hard though. {:o)

Getting closer!! The weekend weather stinks, so I had to scrap plans to do the bottom and brought home my cockpit locker covers and drop boards to refinish instead. Hope to be in the water in a couple of weeks.
