Hey folks

has anyone had there anchor motor just stop working? I use to get some clicking with the controller but at the end of last season it just stopped. I did notice a very very thin black broken wire underneath it.

I'll have to check it out. The relay that controls the up/down on ours is mounted on the side of the engine. I had to replace it for intermittent won't raise the anchor.
Michael,
We had the same trouble and it turned out to be the circuit breaker/swwitch in the aft cabin adjacent to the batteries.
Initially it went high resistance so it showed 12.7 volts but would not carry the current required then it went open circuit completely. New breaker/switch and all good.
When we purchased the yacht a chain counter had been fitted though Beneteau failed to fit the sensor and subsequent wiring...all fixed and working well.
Good luck,
