I don't even like the idea of sailing offshore. Fortunately, neither does my captain.
I trust the boat to be OK unless we get screeching winds, but we've only been sailing a short time. Maybe some day, we'll take a short offshore. Meanwhile, I lean back on my Gemini Catamaran and relax along the Potomac River and the Chesapeake Bay. Those are areas where we find some of the most salubrious sailing found anywhere - as long as you don't get caught in a thunderstorm.

I have had the pleasure of sailing the Chesapeake twice and love it each time. It is truly one of the top ten places to sail. You are lucky.
