SeaKnots

Getting close to time to shove off, hopefully for the summer. Zeehag will arrive here next Tuesday, do whatever running needs to be done, and provision on Wednesday. Head out Thursday morning. Our plans are set in Jello, but intentions are to do the Keys, Tortugas, then head north up the east coast.
Any and all along the way, be sure to keep in touch, and let us know how to get ahold of ya. Wanting to meet up with as many as possible, put some faces to names, and maybe even do a few 16 ounce curls. Will post up as much as possible, keep everyone informed of our progress and make any arrangements to meet up.

Hey ye, well I reckon I'll be bringin up th rear. Slidell aye?, Phil,,,say hello to Covington for me. I do appreciate these kinda notes that keep me in the reality of things, such as I've been draggin my tail on gettin outta here. This FYI of yers motivates me to square up with this remodel and focus on the fears and tears that I face ahead, soon enough.

Well you are welcome here in Myrtle Beach for one of your stops...do I understand you are taking 2 boats?
Ahhh "Envious" is all I can say..:-) Fair winds , stay safe y' all. Can't wait to hear your reports and blogs.
Hey Phil,

Anxiety is normal before a trip of this nature. I'm sure that you'll have a great time. If you go to my blog, on the left side is a link called Where's Veranda.....I've got a list along with a short description of every place we've spent the night along the east coast. It may be of some help to you. We are not usually marina people so its a pretty long list of possible anchorages with a smattering of marinas thrown in.

I highly recommend the Skipper Bob's guide to anchorages along the ICW as well.

Veranda,
I've done the east coast twice, in the not too distant past, and have skipper bobs. will look at your blog, as both previous trips have not been in a rush, but wanted to get south. this time will be much slower, and easier trip.

Hi Phil,
