One of our newest members brought to light a new concept - for me at least. Boat Sitting. Is this a very common thing? I absolutely love this idea. Staying on someone's boat while they need to fly home or travel away.

Have you heard of this before? Would you do this with your boat?

Its good, I spent a summer in Spain doing just that. Very enjoyable and relaxing
Wow, that sounds fantastic. How did you find out about this opportunity?
Well I helped deliver the boat from Key Largo to St Maarten (flew back for a couple months as the owner was on it) then came back to St Maarten with some others and took the boat to the Azores then to Alicante Spain. When we got to Spain the owner asked if any of us would like to stay on the boat and cruise along the coast of spain for a couple weeks. I was the only one interested. When we got to Barcelona he asked me if I would stay on the boat and keep an eye on it while he went back home for a couple months. When he got back we took the boat around the islands and then up to France where it was hauled out of the water.
How does one get a gig like this?? Sounds awesome
