Chain plate nuts were hidden.  The hull was built then the chain plates attached.  Next came a 1" layer of foam and a couple of layers of glass which entombed the chain plate nuts.  To access these we drilled oversize holes in the inner skin and foam.  Then epoxied sections of glass tubing.  Several of the bolts were crevice corroded and twisted apart during their removal.  New bolts and nuts were coated with TefGel.  Holes will receive plastic caps.

Mizzen step rotted due to no cap on top of mizzen mast.  Laminated about 5" of oak and associated oak members to carry the forces to the hull
