A few weeks ago I bought a 2.5 Nissan outboard from a guy in the mislands. I will use it on my rib, 12 ft 1964 Crestliner Super Fisherman and also my Howler 8 ft hard dinghy. It runs really nice so lets hope it keeps it up with maintenance.

I don't think it would in wind and current. My 7.5 Johnson will contro; my 27 Ft Tartan but just barely in conditions.

As an end fact, my Tartan is for sale in CHarleston, SC.

I have the same motor that I will use on my recently purchased dinghy.  I wonder if it would push my 30 ft. Oday?
