SeaKnots

Ahoy there guys and gals,

With 28 days until cast off I need the chart numbers for Bermuda from Florida, the Cheasapeake, and New York Harbor.

Charts that would cover from Florida to New York would be great. I have tried to order charts online but getting a clear view of what is shown on my little lap top screen is difficult. I could drive to Blue Water Books in Ft. Lauderdale at the cost of $100 just for gas (not to mention a 6 hour round trip drive). So, I'd rather not take that route.

Anyway, equipped with an AIS system, radar, a new watch commander, epirb, two deflatables, a harness, and a few tools I'm pretty close to being as ready as I will ever be. Again, any information on charts would be appreciated.

Thanks, and if you have any spare confidence you can send that my way, too!

       Cheers,

           Sassea

if you have charts in your gps, thenyou can find paper ones as you go. i found some in ensenada and some in  mazatlan, very inexpensively.  yes i know you are on other coast, but is still easy  to find  paper charts when underway for less than imagined in a store, unless you havent a gps for  course planning....

"Auto ascending setup is an interesting idea, though it takes a bit of fiddling around to get it right. Once it's dialed in, it actually works quite well."
