So, there is a tropical depression/storm out there...but it's in the Pacific. As I have stated before, Fl tends to get the hurricanes later in the season. Radio weather people this morning only pointed out that there was a storm in the Pacific and if was named, the name would be Andres. There you go!

We have acquired our NEW SAILBOAT!! A 27 foot Watkins. A boat of OUR DREAMS!!! It was just like having Christmas in June! The hubby and I stayed up half the night exploring.

The ability to stand upright inside one's boat is a tremendous advancement!!! It was such fun exploring the nooks and crannies of our new baby, the Sea Owl. What a treasure she is! I am posting pics below for your viewing pleasure.

A real sink. A built in propane stove! Room to have people over and actually entertain. I am so thankful for these blessings. We haven't been out sailing yet...still getting things moved in and arranging for our wonderful EW to be pulled out and trailered. And then sold.

Weather in O Town has been sweltering. Humidity high. We will be going out to the Owl on Sunday afternoon. Cannot think of a better place for the hubby to spend Father's Day.

Stay safe and dry.

"Auto ascending setup is an interesting idea, though it takes a bit of fiddling around to get it right. Once it's dialed in, it actually works quite well."

"Michael, From experience over three keel boats a fully battened main is almost a requirement. Not only will it make dropping the sail into the boom bag far easier it certainly reduces any flogging and vastly lengthens the life of the sail. While…"
