Weather today in O Town was absolutely gorgeous. As Phillip Karney would say in the old time radio show Adventures of the Scarlet Queen..."Skies clear, winds fair".... Sunny and mild...just a real treat....even for those of us who reside here permanently. This will end early Friday morning when some of the outer bands of Hanna arrive.
I feel fairly certain the bread shelves at the store are pretty decimated. I already have my 4 loaves in the freezer should I NEED them...hurricane preparedness is pretty much mandatory in this state for self preservation.
There are 2 storms riding in Hanna's wake. Never a dull moment in paradise. We are predicted to get possibly 3 to 5 inches of rain from Hanna so it should not be too bad [all in a day's work during the rainy season here in Touristland]. If she decides to hang around and wear out her welcome then there will be WAY more.
EW will get hammered again, I think. Trying to resolve the leaks. Hoping to go sailing in the near future...stupid hurricanes!
Stay dry and safe everyone.
