Kristine,
I know what you mean about the funding issue. it is difficult at best. And with the economic situation here in the states it is even more difficult.
When you say you are looking to do liveaboards for people do you mean you will live on their boat and maintain it while they are away? Yes the boaters there are a strange breed for sure. and yes there are alot of older boaters there. How old are you?
So what is your nationality? I know I met a ton of people from all over the world the 6 weeks i was there. I loved that part of it for sure. When you gonna post a picture? haha so hey ya, how are you getting on line then while you are down there? are you going into town and going to the internet cafes?
I do not remember the name of the marina I used to dingy to at the edge of town right near the edge of the bridge. Restaurant and bar right on the water.. they had internet too (and cheap beer!! haha)
set a date and time.... lets meet here!!

How long you been sailing? what kinda gig are you looken for on a boat now? I know when i was in the Rio in July-early sept it was pretty full. lots of boats there. where you stayen while you are there? I loved it there alot.. We moored at Tortugal when I was there. pretty cool marina for sure...
Maybe we should try to set up a time to get on here and chat??? I have a very flexible schedule....

"Hi Pete. Hope this finds you well. I sold the boat, due to a broken leg, that left  me handicapped.  I want to continue being on Seaknots, for pleasant reminders, and I thought of you. Be in touch, as I follow you in your adventures"
