73ft German Frers "Renaissance"

Renaissance is sailing from Cartagena (Colombia) to LA Ca this October 15th 2008. She will cross the Canal, Las Perlas, Costa Rica, Salvador, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Mexico.
After few months in LA she will sail the South Pacific. I will provide informations on this site.
Philippe the owner is willing to get paying guests on these passage. It is a great opportunity to built your confidence if you never experienced this type of sailing. See pictures of the boat.

Pierre and Family on a 1975 30ft sloop to Peru from Los Angeles

Would like to know what you think about it?

Pierre and his family (children from 1 to 6 years old are getting ready to sail to Peru from Los Angeles.

For some it is crazy considering he has little experience for other it is bold and courageous but not scarry.

I am one of them.

Is it a better time to leave? I don't think so considering the insanity we are living on. And if they wait to get more money what will happen of their dream?
