Hey Tracy - so sorry.. I was totally out of it not realizing this was big holiday week... family celebrations of Seder and Easter.... plus the weather sucked. Are you a teacher or student re the school. Weather looks awesome for Thursday and Friday. Are you ever free during the week ? The next couple weekends I can't go sailing but I can go during the week. My boat is up in New York so I've been looking at different places to rent..... Talk to you soon.... My Irish friend and I never went sailing...too cold.... fair winds....

Mike Brown replied to sail abroad's discussion Kitchen cabinet pegs loose! in the group Beneteau 40 & 43
"We have them but don't use them as things don't fit well within the cabinet with them in place. If you want to keep them in place you'll need to find something to take up the space between the peg and hole. Try breaking off a small…"

Kitchen cabinet pegs loose!

We have a beneteau 40 2009, in the kitchen cupboard there are pegs in one cupboard to organize dishes and plates etc.Strangely the pegs are very loose, don't fit the holes well so don't really stay put to keep the dishes in place. Can other owners say if their pegs are also very loose? Are they meant to be glued/sikaflexed in place? What other solutions have been tried to get them to stay put?…See More

Bow thruster goes off

I am experiencing a problem with my bow thruster on my Beneteau 43. There was a post earlier on with the same title posted by Frank but there is not the way it had been sorted. I have noticed that my bowthruster works ok on idle but then as I increase the revs the indicator lamp in the button of the control unit starts flicking and then it switches off. I have fitted brand new batteries and had a couple of attempts by technicians to fix this at quite an expense without positive results. I am…See More
