- I am relatively new to sailing, as far as having my own boat, of which is currently a 1976 VN 23. I have been sailing my own boat on a 3100 acre lake here in Northeast Indiana for a year and a half now, and can't get enough! I am currently planning a trip to Lake Erie via Port Clinton, for Labor day weekend 2011. I am looking for someone in the area to give me advice on sailing Erie as a first timer!
