Tall blond, that loves sailing, scuba diving, ocean rowing just about any sport on the water. I used to surf but haven't for awhile. Pacific waves are bigger!

Let's see... yeah, i miss the monterey coast.. used to sail out of moss landing.. i liked the remoteness of the whole area.. appreciated the stunning beauty of big sur.. there was so much of monterey county and the nearby areas to explore..
I like apollo beach.. i kept a boat at shell harbor.. we got hit a couple of times by hurricanes where the power was out for a week or so..had to threaten the electric co., swepco, when we were visited by looters.. we threatened to call action 8 news..
i figure when i retire many years from now, cuba will be open and a pretty good place to live financially.. i have friends down there that live like royalty on very little..i just need to improve on my high school spanish language.
as for Mexico.. been all up and down both coasts.. when i was young, it was a great place to go to.. i used to go to school at the army/navy academy in carlsbad and some of us guys would just pop on over the border for a weekend of debauchery.. but, i haven't been there in about 20 years.. it's gotten too insane and dangerous.. will possibly return sometime to the very far south to view the ruins..
since i just moved here to biloxi, ms, i am between boats.. looking for a small trailerable that i can easily tow and launch all along the coast to explore bays, inlets, the small and interesting coastal islands, etc.
well, i'm off to the chat room to see what barry(seapainter) is cooking up today..

You should hook up with the Tampa Bay Sailing Squadron there in Apollo Beach.. Good people that are active in sailing.
