Newly retired Pilot, Cruised part time in winter from North West Coast Canada to Florida, Bahamas, Carribean, and now looking forward to sailing in fresh water for the first time on much downsized "Good Old Boat".

I am an absolute "BOAT NUT", love boats of all sorts and have been boating all of my life. Had my first boat, flat bottom rowboat, at the age of 9 yrs. and rowed her to school every day. Have owned many boats over the years and am still fascinated by everything boats. Have built two boats so far, small dinghy and 20 ft. motor skiff, and am planning to build rowing Dory this winter. Hoping to do more sailing summer of 2012 but seem to be busier since I retired than I was when I was working.

John, One other thought to find your old boat. If you go to the Fuji website, there is a listing of status for all Fuji 35s. If you remember the hull number (it is probably in the Lats and Ats article -- I have a copy on the boat) you can locate the current owner, and often email address.

Hope that was helpful.

John,

The answer to your simple question is No. I have seen your boat in Long Bearch, I think it was. There are 4 -- 5 Fuji 35s and 32 around here. Mine was originally kept in Oxnard, and was called Mi Vida for the last 20 years.

They are great boats.

Thanks for acepting as friends, and your kind remarks...If you can believe it I awoke to SNOW this morning...so I look forward to warm weather too. I do love my Freedom, and I know they have a good reputation...I bought it as was told an easy sailboat to handle...now I just got to learn.

It is believed Paige is a scam of some sort...let me know if you get a reply from her/him.
