Terri. it's no so bad as long as everything is marked. I went through great pain making sure every single wire has a tag number sticker covered with clear heat shrink, so it would not come out later. It adds a large amount of time to the wiring process, but then it makes fault finding and testing so much easier. I made a small database with all the wires, their number, the gauge, the start and end, as well as the loom the wire goes thru. I also added a few test points on critical sections. When something goes wrong (and it did several times before and after I finished all the re-wiring of the boat), it usually takes me a few minutes to diagnose the problem and figure out how to fix it.

Yikes, I'd have to do the "two tin cans and string" method....a very long string..
