Hi Lola
Thank you for the very kind offer, but I'm afraid I don't qualify, not married, no mate.

I'm not looking for a weekend adventure, more of an extended winter stay in sun and warmth. I love your area. I spent a few months in Beaufort and got addicted to the food. {:o) Never learned to shag though.

You are a talented artist, and I see your theme is sailing. The world needs more of that art. My ex was an artist. In fact your facial features and hers are strikingly similar. {:o) Our house always had that pleasant, distinctive, aroma of turpintine and oils. And I learned not to ask questions when she was in the painting mood. HA!

Winter sailing is kinda rugged in your area with NE winds, is it not? Do you stick to the ICW in the winter?

If you want to see sailing where I'm headed next summer, Google Northwest Channel cruising. It's very similar to Maine. Pine, rocks, wild berries, critters. A great place for artists to take pictures to take home to work on in the winter.

Great Lakes sailing sometimes presents great drama in the form of storms. There's great power in those storms, and many freighters have broken in half and sunk. I've done some blue water sailing and nothing compares to a bad day on the lake except a force 5 hurricane.

I will be watching for your posts, and new pictures.

Thanks Liv, I'm really proud of my boat...I also like boat models. Come visit anytime.

What beauty . It looks so inviting. Hmm.... looking more closely. I have the same seagull on my dining room shelf. It sits beside a big model of the sailing vessel 'Bluenose' .

I use aft berth for storage, and after putting it all in salon...the bottom boards had to be removed to take out fuel tank...among all else...for engine repair.

It has taken 12 hours in 2 days, to put it back in this condition once again.Pine needles all over in and out of boat....very hard to get out of all the areas outside top deck..I'll tell you. Sole had sand...settee covers needed to be washed.
Starboard side has streaks, I could not get to...will do later.

Does anyone have a good method of cleaning the sides while on boat?...other than dingy? Also what chemical works best?

Often people ask me how do i prepare for sailing.?

10 minutes. ..In large plastic keeper. All pictures are leaning only on sides...ones on bulkhead w a small nail...easy.
