I need to make a companionway door...the opening is an odd shape. I want it hinged...I have some ideas...anyone want to be paid to make me one contact me and will send more photos.

I want to put strips of teak on steps as grippers, and beauty.

Lola,
Also on my page I have some photos of KILLICK, our Cal 34. #7 shows our galley. If you look at the door, just forward of the galley you'll see a small black piece...this is the bracket for our sea swing.

Lola,
Can't find a link for sea swing, which probably means that they are no longer sold (?). However, if you just 'google' sea swing stove you'll get a few comments and photos.

Lola,
I do understand your changing the galley for dockside living. However, for cooking while away from the dock, you might want to consider a sea swing unit. It's a single burner, 1lb propane, that's on a gimble, and is easily removeable. I've had mine for 20 years.
