Hello Scott,
We don't have children that age anymore but we are going to plan on being more in your area next year.

We just spent the week at Block Island. I should say the wife spent a week, then had to come back on the ferry while I waited out the weather and came back the following week. Ended up spending nearly two weeks there.

I'm a professional writer and write marina reviews for several publications. I do want to spend some time up north of Rhode Island. We're located up in Narragansett Bay at Apponaug Harbor. I kept meaning to head north, but circumstances kept me south all summer.

I cruise the North Shore of New England out of Salem Mass. with my wife and 3 kids. 2 boys 13 and 10, and a daughter 9. We are looking for other cruising families to plan some cruises with next year. We plan to visit the cape, and possibly Main, and well as our weekend trips to Boston Harbor, and North shore. Please contact me if you know of other families with children as it is always more fun for the kids if they have friends to play with. And lets face it, if the kids are happy, the parents are happy!
