I’ve been plagued by a freshwater leak that is draining my water tanks. The leak is noticeable as a trickle of water coming from the compartment outboard of the compartment containing the freshwater pump and valves. It’s just a trickle coming From forward and draining into a small limber hole which goes under the hot water tank and the valve compartment into the bilge. I traced Everything forward of that trickle along the starboard side of the hull where there are various freshwater pipes, all the way back to the forward Water tank and could find not a single wet spot. Any suggestions would be appreciated

One trick is to add a small amount of food coloring to the tank. The food coloring will make it easier to spot any leaks. Another option would be to use some Pink water Winterization. It too should pinpoint any leaks. Start with the Pink and move to food coloring if need be.
Good luck

Thanks, that’s a good idea.  Maybe you can answer this question. I’ve never paid much  attention to which tank was number one or number two. Currently the panel display  says number two is empty, Also the middle of the 3 valves in the fresh water manifold seems to be #2.  Number 1 is mostly full.Do you know if #2 is the forward or the aft tank, and I’ll add the pink stuff to the empty tank.

If I recall correctly #1 is the aft tank and #2 is forward. We had marked our valves with felt pen to help when switching tanks.
I’d start with the forward tank since it appears the water is coming from that direction. Does it only happen. When the tank is full? Or does it happen no matter how much water is in the tank? Have you been able to access all the fittings? Wipe a bare finger under each one feeling for moisture. Use a flashlight and peak down between the tank and bulkheads for any sign of water. The tanks have had issues with cracking but that was in the early models. We had our aft tank replaced early on for a crack. Try to diagnose it in sections working from the tank to aft. Does it leak with the pump turned off? Is it worse with it in? The more you can eliminate the sooner you’ll find the problem. Good luck and keep me posted.
