What extra safety measures did you take?  Which PFDs, sunscreen, sunglasses, etc. work the best for a newborn?  Did you take the car seat onto the boat?  Are there any baby seats that are safe  and…Continue

This is the one we ordered. We don't know how she'll like it yet, but once she joins us and we try it out, we'll be sure to let you know.

Anyone find a semi-comfortable pfd for an infant under 30 lbs ? Ousr son is 9months old and starts screaming as soon as the life vest goes on. The problem seems to be the excessive thickness of the chest area (which, I'm sure, is to keep him floating face up)

my baby was a week old... and loved sleeping in the vegtable hammock.... and then we got bigger hammocks.. hung below out of the sun.... just cover them all up with light clothing... wonder if they make baby clothes with the UV protection now... or buy the fabric.

"I use TeaQua on my rails and companionway doors. I've only had to apply it once to the doors since the original oil faded. I do my rails in the spring. Just a quick sand and rub it on."

Maintainig teak companionway doors

The finish/stain on the companionway doors on my 2012 B40 are fading and need something. I would like top keep the original satin finish. Benetau told me the stain they use is proprietary, and not available to purchase. I am not a fan of Cetol or other shiny finishes. Any suggestions?
