Ladye, in front of my Freedom 30...Note my slip is the first one in front of the Myrtle Beach Yacht Club...I was able to learn a new method of backing out and coming back...we went to the ICW It was the only time we could take the boat out, due to Rain, Winds. So we went sight seeing, and Boat Stores, and Restaurants. I learned a great deal from Ladye in Discussions..on charts, radio use, and common sense applications. Thanks Ladye.

Ladye arrives at Myrtle Beach Airport

Well, I must say to all that are considering taking Lola up on her offer ... DO IT! She's a wonderful hostest, has a lovely home on a peacefu marsh, a great boat in a neat marina and Myrtle Beach area has much to offer in entertainment.

Unfortunately, due to weather, we didn't get to sail, but we did get the boat out of the slip and at least into the ICW on Friday, before all the rain set in. Sat. & Sun. we visited several boating stores and looked at projects on her boat, then watched the Christmas Boat Parade and I learned 'The Shag'. Monday the sun came back out, but the wind was just too strong. It was interesting to see that area and I still hope to sail there one day. Thanks again, Lola.
The Shag is the N and S Carolina Dance...We went to the famous FAT HAROLD'S... AND SAW A LIVE BAND
