SeaKnots

Hi sailing friends.  I am bobbing around in Charleston Harbor waiting for my Grandson to arrive on a schooner out of Maine on 21 April.  After that it is my plan to take my boat south to Florida for the last shuttle launch on 28 june.  Another grandson will be joining me for that adventure.  After the launch I will head north dropping Caleb off at the airport in Jacksonville and then proceeding north.  I read somewhere that Hurricane season starts in June.  What are the chances that I will encounter problems with weather during the time period I am planing on.  Being a novice sailor on a 27 ft O Day I don't want to deal with a hurricane.

Thanks everyone

Al
