I wrote to the sailor trailor list. Someone will give me the name of a highly recommended surveyor on Monday. I guess this person needs to check his files on Monday when he's at work.
So, hang on. With any luck I may have a name for you tomorrow.
The person who will give me the information is a very knowledgable surveyor himself. He's also a boat appraisor but not in Chicago. I don't know him personally, only through the e-mail list.

Hey Suky,
for the last two days now we've had thunderstorms, a lot of rain and even hail.
Our marina, which was still flooded with spring melt water last weekend, surely is still a mess. The road leading to the docks is under water and the docks are floating in mid-river.
I'm sitting here, biting my nails... I'm so anxious to get the boat into the water. It's all packed.. We've completed a two month marthon 'building and repair frenzy' of building shelves and cupboards plus 100 other things.
Anyhow.. so the boat is ready but our marina is not.
