"East River Waterfalls Will Make Big Splash This July" By John Del Signore


"Details have emerged on the ambitious, $15 million East River waterfalls project coming to New York in mid-July to cap off the Olafur Eliasson retrospective at MoMa. The project will consist of four man-made waterfalls, ranging 90 to 120-foot tall, installed temporarily at four sites along the shores of Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Governors Island: by the Brooklyn anchorage of the Brooklyn Bridge, between Piers 4 and 5 in Brooklyn, in Lower Manhattan at Pier 35, and on the north shore of Governors Island. The waterworks will flow from 7am to 10pm seven days a week, will be lit after sunset, and operate from July to October"....

I would be a little concerned about that last picture, seems to me that would add a lot of extra weight to the Brooklyn Bridge, maybe I'm just looking at it the wrong way...and the point of this whole project is????
The point was described as...Beautiful artwork! :-)
Can't wait to sail by those in July!
They're up...have you seen them? What do you think?
WHY ??? You could buy 60 of us really nice boats for that kind of dollars.
Not at all impressive, at least during daylight...

Cabin eyebrow windows

Good morning gang,I have received both port and starboard cabin windows from Beneteau for replacement as the existing leak and are badly etched. Beneteau has referred me to the dealership for installation but I'm having trouble getting a response.   Does anyone have any experience replacing these and any recommendations. JohnSee More
