SeaKnots

Offshore in the morning. Approximately 200 mile run to Tampa entrance. We did approx 80 coming into Port St. Joe from Destin and had a wonderful sail Weather forecast is for more of the same. Figure it will take us approx. 40 hours, but if we go like we were the other night, may be a lot less. We needed to average 5 knots coming from Destin get into here early morning. Zhag, had the midnight watch, and she had the boat going over 7. Had to slow it down or get in here before first light. Will be no slowing down headed to Tampa. Bring on the 7 knots.

we had wonderful run from port st joe to tampa--took 48 hours---caught 3 fish that got away--one was a tuna type--didnt see the other 2--the tuna type fishie broke a rod and got the lure and line---the huge one that was 3rd broke line and ran...first one was prolly a spanish mackerel --just escaped from the line--was flustrating....there was a hitchhiker on board --despite kat--a small cute swallow decided to fly and land and fly and land inside and outside the boat---we have feathers inside from when bubbadaboatkat decided to smak him 2 times with both paws----but birdie was able to fly in the morning and watched us as we sailed the boat to land for him....we had to use engine, as the wind became very weak---was from astern allll day and into nite before weakening to nothing...we anchored out near the pilot boat dock.....is very busy today being a sunday in summer !!!!
