My wife and I will be putting our treasure Kuan Yin ( a 27ft motorsailer on the market this year. She was built by Covey Island Boatworks NS in 2002. She is a VERY sturdy boat economical and handsome with a great story too. She would be perfect near Maine, NS or cruising the Rideau or Trent canals. We are planning on moving up in size if all goes well. How have people got word out to sell boats? Broker no broker ebay, magazines? Thanks...Phillipe

The way to reach the most potential buyers is to list her with a broker that will guarantee you that she'll be listed on Yachtworld.com

I don't know anyone who's gone serious boat shopping without cruising through Yachtworld a time or six.

You'll be reaching out to buyers from all over and dramatically increase your odds of getting her sold at a good price.

I guess I agree. Do you think it matters if the broker is located in Maine vs Vermont? Its funny though, the last 3 boats I bought I found outside of Yacht World. But it's the first place I look.
