Hi all,

I need to replace my mast on RAMPAGE, my Ericson 39 flushdeck? Keel-stepped, it was 62 feet length before it snapped, double spreader.

If anyone knows of a good one for sale, please let me know!

Thanks for the info-Gordon

Hi, I have bought a new carbon fibre rig for my Sweden Yachts 42 and therefore selling the old alu rig from 2003, perfect condition, complete with a standard about 20 m mast, about 5,50 m boom, spreaders, rod kick/kicking strap, standing and running rigging, reefing lines, deck light etc., Full details and pictures are available, any interest ?
Bonjour Per,

Of course I am interested. Do you think it would fit my Ericson 39?

Do you have a phone # I can call you at? Mine is 321-225-2014.

Where is the mast located?

Thanks a lot for info-Gordon
Hi Gordon, I dont know how it will fit your boat, I am reachable on (45) 40307777. The mast will shortly be located at Nordic Mast in Aabenraa (Denmark).
Best regards
Per
Per, do you have a LANDLINE I can call you at?

Gordon
Hi Gordon, my landline in (DK) office hours is (45) 55 77 77 77, Per
Have you considered a splice? Or is it too damaged?
U crack me up :-)
Hi Tom,

Well, I was towed into Rob's Marina in Stock Island when it crashed, and he said his foreman welder could fix it no problem, sleeve it, so he put me beside a barge for 8 days, and then informed me it would be too complicated, and sorry, and oh, here's the yard bill for $1600...!!! Won't be going back THERE!!!

So the mast went to aluminium scrap, I saved all the hardware and boom...

Thanks for the reply.

Gordon
Wow Gordon, I feel your pain. Those guys sound like they do boats part time and work on Wall street for the real money. I am in the Chesapeake and am not familiar with Stock Island. What state is that in? Masts do turn up now and then., but the shipping can be prohibitive. I found one locally that I used for my mizzen. It took some fab work but works great. I will be looking for a new main at some point as it still is the original wood stick and is quite heavy. I think there are a few rigging shops in Annapolis that have used spars. I will look for links and send them along later.
Stock Island is in the Florida Keys, just north of Key West... to be avoided, as are some plumbers and garages around the world...;-)

And I will call Lafeill, thanks!
Gordon
Geez and here I thought you were joking... u can weld them!? And I'd be having a heart attack with that yard bill. Could have had slip in Newport for that money.
the original was probably made by la fiell in santa fe springs, ca, as th boats were produced in costa mesa---la fiell is still in business--look for them online....goooodluck
