hello,

Here is a 37 inch monitor LED monitor (just 78W) for the Raymarine E80, you can see it even from outside but sheltered by the canopy.

Very nice, Denis. Hope to see it in person soon!
Hi Franc

To come on board from the front here is a modification for the gang way (and asymetrical spinnaker) on the aft end I used a LOPOLIGHT rear LED that is not hidden by the tender. This light is very impressive low consumption and extremly bright.

I will send more pictures soon.

hi all. on a similar note. i purchased a small 8-inch LCD that is designed for the back of headrests in SUV to entertain kids while underway. cheap. DC powered. low amps. i ran a long VGA cable from E80 to the V-berth and mounted it right near my head. i use it to two ways: 1) click it on; check my position at night when at anchorage to make sure i haven't dragged and to check the wind, etc. looks just like the picture denis uploaded above. i'm lazy and don't like getting out of bed! it is comforting and i sleep better. 2) i plug my ipod into it which streams movies to the LCD. movies in bed! what's better than that?

Clayton, I really like your idea, but can't afford the E120 and instruments powered all night long, I don't think my batteries can sustain these plus refrigerator/freezer, anchor lights, etc specially after a DVD session on night before. How often you leave your instruments on ?
Denis, why that vertical wood piece above and below the TV ? Your TV seems a hungry power one, how often you use it ?Me and kids like to hear music DVDs and installed a Bose system for a better sound. I'm not happy with my 22 inch TV and plan to replace it for a 26 inch LED TV (recently launched by Samsung and LG). The problem with my 22 inch is the image fade as you look it from underneath the screen (small vertical vewing angle), so TV is usable only by ones seating far from TV. This problem is due poor/cheap TFT design used on smaller screens. I'll post my DVD system as soon I have some pics.
Hello,

The wood is hiding the passage for the cables. We probably could of gone in the space between the shower and the main bulkhead.

This LED TV/monitor is a very low consumption (for it's size) and when not in use it can be completely shutdown without a standby. All USB / VGA/DVI HDMI ports are easy access on the recessed size. It weighs less than 10kg.

"Auto ascending setup is an interesting idea, though it takes a bit of fiddling around to get it right. Once it's dialed in, it actually works quite well."
