Elementary schools throughout the nation participate in a reading program for which students get prizes for documenting 'x's number of 26 minute blocks of reading for pleasure. No blogging in 17 days because of that overwhelming sensation when one juggles upkeep on a house and a boat while mismanaging their money. Marina and I drove down to the boat Thursday afternoon after I got off work. Arriving at the dock we loaded up a cart with our gear, food, and water and proceeded to our slip. Last Wednesday it was time to return to school for my final semester involved with traditional education. When the week-end finally arrived I was rewarded with 3 days of being surrounded with the best group of beach cat sailors around. Several bloggers have asked me where I am so I guess I need to clarify. I am home. Home in Indialantic in my nice concrete block, with 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, living room, den, converted dining room to a reading room, kitchen, laundry room, two car garage, sewing area, and inground swimming pool. This blog is crazy, or is it me. My last posting was repeated at least 3 times. Let us just hope my sail home from Bermuda to Port Canaveral is less bewildering.
The forecast for the next several weeks, per Chris Parker, is southwest winds. If you do not know where Port Canaveral is, can you make an educated guess as to which direction it is from this beautifully located island.
