Michael:
Thank you for the offer. I crew on a 373 Bene. Great boat, smooth sailing on the Atlantic (2 small rain storms with a few boomers) and easy to handle at Hell-Gate with the 2 currents. We had some small swirls but she breezed right through.
All the best

Back in the late 80's I met and raced with Elizabeth Roosevelt and her nephew on her J-24 out of Oyster Bay. She was a very active and competitive racer....I'm sure she is still sailing, if she is able
Will be driving to Oyster Bay. No boat trip this time. Also, not my book another author. History of Theodore Roosevelt's work with conservation and the Nat'l Parks.
All the best

Just got word that all the hatches and portlights are done and are on their way up.
By the 29th I'll probably be out at Block, Cuttyhunk or the Vineyard. After that will be heading down to the Chesapeake....but if I'm still in the area we'll head over on the 29th.
