Please add your favorite saying; I don't know the origin of this, It was told to me years ago by my flight instructor, but it applies very much to sailing also. " IT IS BETTER TO BE ON THE DOCK WISHING YOU WERE SAILING, THAN TO BE SAILING, WISHING YOU WERE ON THE DOCK"

Be kind Anyway.

My worst day sailing was still better than my best day at the office.

When traveling in fog, send someone forward with a bucket of potatoes, and every minute or so, have him heave one forward as hard as he can in the direction of travel. If you hear a splash, proceed. If you don't - tack. it! LOL good idea

Hello all.The Dolphin 40amp battery charger in my 2011 43 is charging well, EXCEPT the cooling fan is cycling on and off every 20 seconds or so. Volts and amps are correct  although there is red light top and centre flashing red, does not look happy. It seems as if the thermostat controlling the fan is not functioning correctly as the unit is not even warm.I cannot locate the Beneteau supplied manual, any clues as to the fault.Regards,Bilgolabands (Liberte)See More

"Hi Pete. Hope this finds you well. I sold the boat, due to a broken leg, that left  me handicapped.  I want to continue being on Seaknots, for pleasant reminders, and I thought of you. Be in touch, as I follow you in your adventures"
