SeaKnots

Some would say that I should finish the "Across the Pacific" series before I start something new. OTOH, I have the opportunity to interview the local Boat US Vessel Assist Captain here in Seattle so I am going to go for it; hoping I will be able to spend a day on the water with him.

Do any of you have any questions you would like me to pose?

This promises to be a very entertaining and educational experience: Stay tuned.

....and I will finish the Across the Pacific series and begin on Cruising the Pacific Northwest. I have four months until we head for SE Alaska.

LOL, I did change the ending after the first time you complained, but I had already made quite a few and posted them on YouTube. I think there is only one left with the barf tag - Day 53. I would edit the ending off but Sea Knots will not allow video files that large uploaded directly.

I'd like to know the most difficult Assist they did.

The most dangerous Assist situation to the boat and her crew

The most foolish things boat owners do.

That's a good one Terri. I hadn't thought of it. Thanks.

I'd be interested in knowing if he's ever had any cases where owners are leary or nervous about getting help as sometimes the difference between a tow or salvage isn't fully understood. I've read quite a bit about it myself and still don't fully understand it. Thanks
