Whether I sail non stop or visiting depends! Most likely, I'll be stopping along the way, making decisions as I go. My first hop will be from Palm Bay, Fl to Panama, through the canal and then onto . . . . . . ..

Again sorry about the slow response. We sail out of the Municipal Yacht Harbor at West End. I personally live in Metairie as does one other crew member. Two of the crew work in the defense industry and drive in from Slidell every Wednesday. The skipper use to live in Metairie but moved to Lakeview in New Orleans just before Katrina. He finished renovating his house (with demolition assistance of his crew) in February before Katrina and again in 2006, after Katrina. Our sails are old and likely to stay that way.

I and two partners have a boat on the North Shore in Mandeville

hay! where are you these days? we're bummed cuz of the spill. before it hit the MS coast we went to see the possibility of sailing over there. see http://sailgulfcoast.blogspot.com/2010/07/gulf-sailing-post-bp-oil-spill.html
but now it's everywhere! uggh
so we're stuck with our urgings to go somewhere but can't come up with a solution
maybe will travel by land somewhere soon before we go crazy
and you, what ya up to? coming down this way sometime soon? still planning to go off with Phil somewhere?
