SeaKnots

Metaphorically I am sailing on. My life has taken a turn down a new road.  To encompass all that is going on Sea Knots might be limiting. Then again, the transition to sassea.blogspot.com is like sailing upwind against a current. It is as confusing as learning to sail. You might remember those days. Learning the foibles of a foreign language. Multiple meaning words like tack and phrases like 'fall off' were a bit mind boggling.

Perhaps there is a closer resemblance to transiting from Sea Knots to blogger. Take the transition of learning to rig and fly a spinnaker on a small catamaran versus doing the pole dance on a 28 foot Lindenberg with an oversized pole. You understand the concept of setting up the sail. You even understand the subtleties of spinnaker trim. Still, rigging and jibing a spinnaker on a monohull versus on a small cat are quite unique.

With that analogy in mind you can imagine my challenge earlier today, and no doubt tomorrow with setting up the blog through the google blogger. Why would I even do such a thing? Some, even myself, might say it is my continual affectation to engage in tasks that cause anguish. Although I prefer to believe it is the challenge that motivates a need to succeed.  I don't know for sure. I just know my current course is much more fearsome than my solo sail from Bermuda. I will continue using Sea Knots until further notice.

In the meantime may all your sunsets bring out a fiery spirit as in this picture of this western sky somewhere along the South Bight on Andros Island a few days after Christmas.
