Yippeeeeeeeee, The Garmin 740s charts of the Caribbean arrived today. It only took 3 weeks and four days. Tomorrow morning I hope to trade a Danforth 20 pound anchor and about 100 feet of chain for some worthy product. Money would be nice, but paying forward is a good enough deed that will lighten my load.
I gave away two big bags of clothes this morning and am left with 4 bags of items I am having a sentimental attachment to. Most of the items are t-shirts. There are a few blouses and dresses that I bought to impress. I have delusions of wearing even some of the sweatshirts again. Maybe over time they will find another home.
SPRAY is loaded with 35 gallons of diesel in jerry cans, 20 gallons in the tank, 30 gallons of water in the tank with about another ten in jugs. I have plenty of canned goods, two bags of pretzels, a box of crackers, 2 jars of peanut butter, a hunk of cheddar cheese. some grapefruit slices, a dozen eggs, an eggplant, protein powder, Cheerios, Corn Flakes, and a nice ripe ready to eat for breakfast mango. No wonder I have to exercise with a little more vigor.
Anyway, the plan calls for a sail from Georgetown to Thompson Bay in Long Island. I have no idea when I will have internet or phone service again.
There seems to be an inverse relationship between loneliness and moving further south. My sailing is not intended to relieve loneliness, my adventure is about being an adventurous person. The loneliness takes it upon itself to hitch a ride.
Anyway, I could babble on with excitement, But alas, I'll save it for when I have a new place to tell you about.
Be safe,,,,,,,,,,,,Love to my family and friends,,,,,,,,,,, (you know it all started with Ted)
