SeaKnots

I have been posting a blog at http://americanvega.org/captainslog.html since before we left Hawaii, beginning in April of 2007 with my retirement and our preparations but I will post new entries here as well. The latest news is that after destroying my old laptop I now have a new and much more powerful computer that has made video editing easier and I have been working through the 200 odd hours of recordings we made in the preparation phase and during our trip so far. I added one this morning and I have another ready to go as soon as Laura gives her blessing on the final cut. I will post some of them here but you can watch them now on YouTube at http://www.youtube.com/user/vega1860

The new computer is a Dell Latitude e5500. Not really bleeding edge but much more powerful than my old d800. The new one has an Intel dual core processor running at 2GHz and 2GB of RAM.
