Currently Spanish Springs, NV near Lake Tahoe, Reno/Sparks, but plan is to keep boat in the SF Bay area or nearby Delta.
About Me:
Busy life but ready to pursue long time dream of finally getting my sea legs back in shape. 28+ years in Navy and Navy Reserves. First WestPac over 20 years ago and got the bug from a friendly sailor while in port (Pago Pago), who took a few of us out on his 30 footer that he was circumnavigating with. Ever since, I've been waiting for my opportunity to get my certs and buy the right boat. Worked hard both in the military and civilian life as an Electronics Tech, Electrician, and now Instrumentation Tech in the oil and gas industry. Ready for the next adventure!
Current location:
Reno/Sparks, NV area with travel to Nor Cal, WA, ID, OR.
Destinations visited:
Oahu, Hawaii; Subic Bay, Philippines; Sasabo/Nagasaki/Yokosuka, Japan; Hong Kong; Pattaya Beach/Bangkok, Thailand; Singapore; Sri Lanka; Cochin, India; Muscat, Oman; Abu Dhabi, UAE; Bahrain; Qatar; Kuwait; Darwin/Mackay/Brisbane, Australia; Pago Pago, American Samoa; most of the lower 48 states, USA; Tijuana, Mexico; Dublin, Ireland; Bulgaria.
Looking to:
Become more proficient in sailing blue water, travel the pacific, expand friendships and experiences by integrating more into the tight knit sailing community.
