- Hello, I am a 31 year old restoring my first sailboat. It is a 1967 34' Chinook Sloop. I bought 7 years ago and have been waiting for the right time to take on the refit. Been sailing in Nantucket Sound most my life. Spend a good amount of the winter down in the Virgin Islands where I hope to take the boat someday.
