Knew nothing about five yrs ago about sailing. Bought a Catalina 42Mk II and sailed Maine, then the east coast of the USA to the Keys and back several times. Recently sailed my boat across the Atlantic participating in ARC Europe 2012.
US east coast, Bermuda, Azores, southern Portugal, southern Spain.

Hello David: thank you for your friend invitation which I accepted. I did some sailing along the coast of Turkey about 7 yrs ago with a gal from California who was living aboard her Nautilus 39 in Marmaris, Turkey. Is a wonderful marina & lovely town. Although I kept trying, sadly have lost touch with her but continue to try to search her down. Would like to hear from you & see what I can add....sounds you are planning on heading that way....dianne

(Owned B43#19 for 10 years), Sailed from Mass to Tampa to Bahamas with it, great boat, no major issues at all. Boat has flat bottom basically so no need to put rails in water. I found it a very…"
"I’d also do a test using only the main. The more testing you do the more likely you’ll find the problem. I’d also check to see how much the leeward shrouds sag during all the tests. Let us know what you find. Good luck
