Profile Information

Profile Type:
Sailor
Homeport:
Little River, SC
About Me:
Been sailing since 1989, first on San Francisco Bay, then cruising on the Cheasapeake, and now located in South Carolina. Have been down the ICW twice to Florida and to the Bahamas. Have built my own sailboat, a 34 foot Richard Woods design catamaran and sailed her to the Bahamas and back to Annapolis. The boat, Bombay Duck, was sold in the summer of '07 and now looking for another catamaran, a Catalac 8M or 9M. I like to anchor out and explore out of the way places. Also, I'm a member of the local sailing club, the Long Bay Sailing Association. A great group of sailors!
Current location:
South Carolina
Destinations visited:
SF Bay, SF Delta, Chesapeake Bay (all over) East Coast from Annapolis, MD to Biscayne Bay Florida. Bahamas Including, Berry Islands, Nassau, the Exumas down as far as Georgetown.
Looking to:
Cruise around locally for a few years and then cruise the winters in the tropics again. Am willing to help out new sailors with boat related stuff and of course, go sailing!
