Getting close to retirement and looking for more information about the cruising life for myself and my wife. We are the proud new owners of a 1985 Morgan 43 (classic) and are busy learning the vagaries of it's systems etc. We would appreciate hearing from other owners of Morgan 43s.

Hi Bob, I found a great website that has the boating laws for each state: http://www.boat-ed.com/ That way you can look up the laws for each state that you plan to visit. By-the-way, did you know that Ocean-going vessels that are 40 feet or more in length with cooking and sleeping facilities must have a written Waste Management Plan? Oh, and in Georgia you have to maintain a log of every time you used a pump-out station that goes back for at least a year.

It sounds like a good book. Also, for your wife this book "Changing Course" by Debra Ann Cantrell is highly recommended.
