Zoledronic acid should be infused over a period of at least 30 minutes . In patients taking other nephrotoxic drugs or diuretics, periodic postinfusion measurement of serum creatinine should be considered. Zoledronic acid is not recommended for use in patients with creatinine clearance ≤35 mL/min [49].
