I am departing Titusville Fl on July 10th heading north to Elizabeth City NC.  Willl take one crew-  man or woman I don't care-   Crew is responsable only for their own travel to and from boat and their food.  I eat cheap!  Trip will be combination of ICW and Atlantic with stops anywhere we want to.  Living is tight it is a 27 ft ODay.  Anyone interested  email me at:  avoisine@cox.net

I settled for a sailboat & two cats! Happy Sailorette! When I was looking to bum sails I joined a local sailing club and would get to sail every week on boats from Marblehead to RI. Also volunteered in Spring to help clean, paint boats for the experience and to help the owners who I sailed with, was fun. Plus I always brought the Captain baked treats. :-)

Hi I am permanently disabled and unable to work. Sailing has been a lifelong dream for me but as I am unable to hold a job, and living on VA disability, I will never ever be able to afford a boat. I hope someday that some generous soul will be retireing from the sea and in a financial position able to give me his. Fixer uppers don't scare me. However, I am amazed at the condition of some boats!!! Anyway, till then, I catch a sail here and there and learn and grow as I go! my dream is someday of having my wife costal cruise with me into the sunset. May have to settle for a girlfriend or a cat :-)

Could not open the website

But this is a good idea for those with the knowledge, but can't afford a boat?

"Auto ascending setup is an interesting idea, though it takes a bit of fiddling around to get it right. Once it's dialed in, it actually works quite well."

"Michael, From experience over three keel boats a fully battened main is almost a requirement. Not only will it make dropping the sail into the boom bag far easier it certainly reduces any flogging and vastly lengthens the life of the sail. While…"
