SeaKnots

Happy New Year and fair winds.

Winter is a good time to install some in cabin items.Did anyone fit a Seagull IV fresh water filter from General Ecology ?

I have a hard time finding the best spot to have the filter exchange easy and not taking to much space; This is on a B43 3 cabin with port linear Galley.

I was thinking Under the sink or in the rear of the small cupboard forward.

Any suggestions would be welcome. Pictures are even better.

Thank you

Denis

Hi

We were going to fit one of these to our 43 (2 cabin), I took the sea water pump out as it seemed to catch everyone;s feet at some point or another and removed the seacock and use the hole for a keel cooler for the freezer conversion. This left the seawater fawcett just waiting for one of these beauties with plenty of space under the sink. When I enquired I was told the kit comes with everything to install, including the 'T' piece to plumb into the cold water supply to the sink.

Boat is up for sale at the moment as we are changing so no point in adding things that will not add value to the re-sale however this is definitely one mod that will go straight onto the new boat when it is delivered in July.
