Don't worry about problems until thedealer commissions it. All boats have things that require attention. Just make a list and be sure they fix everything on delivery to you. I still find little problems which they will fix. It's normal.
That there will be some problems ... ok but who the f*** is responsive at Beneteau for the last quality check ?
I was in the boat for 3 minutes and already found 3 problems!
Mine was the same. most of the cosmetic issues where fixed quickly. but here I am 18 months later and I am still waiting for things to be repaired. one the notorious electric panel. I was told last July the new ones would be in and now they said this July. still no panel. I still have electrical issues such as loosing battery life with in 2 hours of sail and pumps that work one day and then no power the next. im starting to dislike my dealer and Beneteau. sorry for the screaming boys but today put me over the edge. constantly turning on the motor to re juice the batteries and the shower couldn't be used because the pump would turn on. on Monday I will call the dealer and they will tell me no problem bring it in. that means a 3 hr sail and then they will tie it up for several days and tell me all is fixed. then I will discover 3 days later the same problems. i had less problems with my "87" oday
I had the same battery problem on a 2008 Oceanis37. The Dealer could not find out "anything wrong" and after 3 unsuccessful runs from his tech. dept. to solve the problem, I decided to have a go as I have a engineering background. after 1 hour looking and testing I found that the "problem" was that someone had switched the (+) cables M1 & S1 and I was draining power from the engine starter Battery (70Ah) while both service batteries (2 x 110Ah) were beeing used to start the engine...
Hope you've solved your problems by now
CONGRATULATIONS, ALAIN!

And don't stress about the problems. Stay on top of your dealer and they will take care of them. We are very lucky to have a dealer (Winters Sailing Center) with much better service than others we've met through the years but sometimes you just have to be patient. Enjoy your first sail. You are the new owner of an extraordinary sailing machine! :-)
You are so lucky !!!!! Your boat was not build by a french worker !!

and so on ..... ( there are many more )
Alain, so sorry to see you have all the problems. I'm very surprised to see such poor work in a Beneteau. What has the broker said? Hopefully you have refused to take delivery or sign papers until you're complety satisfied.
I`ll see the dealer in 3 days ...
I`ll keep you up to date ...
Now, the Benteau After-sales Service from France will come to Slovenia the last Week of July ... Great ! but who is paying for my losen hollyday days ????
Hello,

I understand your disapointment, all you have shown can and should be fixed. After two years now our B43 Hibernia is in good shape and sails very well.

Could you show pictures of the paguro 3000 and where is it installed.

I hope Beneteau won't make you loose prcios holiday time.

Denis
On monday, I can show you some pictures ...
The Paguro will be mount under the stearing seat ...
I would keep everything written on paper and continue to pressure your dealer for satisfaction. I would also ask them about your lost holidays and suggest they do something for you.
Good luck and keep us informed
Mike
