I just filled both water tanks on my B40.

Water pressure in the cockpit shower, head sink tap and shower is good but the galley sink tap is at a trickle.

Any assistance would be great.

Thanks,

Chris

PS What is the cylindrical red tank located next to the water tank valves with the air pressure value (like a car tire) on top?

James,

Thanks. I'll check it out next time I'm at the boat.

Anyone else run into the condition of low water pressure and delivery of Hot water at the galley sink? Only the hot water, the cold is fine.?????

I too have this issue.

Thanks

Sam,

I forgot to post a follow up on my water pressure issue. It was the same "hot water only" symptom as you are experiencing. Cleaning the faucet filter had no effect.

I found the blockage was in the line between the hot tank and the kitchen faucet.

The fix: Turn the water pressure switch off at the panel. Get a bucket. Go under the sink and disconnect the hot water hose from the underside of the faucet. It has a simple slide disconnect. Put the open end of the hose in your bucket. Turn the water pump on at the panel for several seconds. You will see the junk, that is slowing your water flow, in the bucket.

Hope this helps.

Harry

Yep, your fix worked perfectly. Interestingly, the amount of scale / junk was minimal but the impact was huge. Full flow again. Thanks Harry.

This site is great for things like this. Nice not having to invent the wheel every time!
